A few weeks ago we were short on rice, pasta, frozen vegetables, and broth. I bought some Better than Bullion in chicken and beef, JIC. I also bought rice and beans in bulk (dry). Our store is still without yeast, but my dad picked me up some packets at his store.
So yeah, I would not be surprised. I have called "famine" as the next crisis for some time. Interestingly, one the riots hit, TP has been fully stocked once again. There is going to be something big coming, it's just a matter of time.
Yes. It will become scarce, think about the months lost in manufacturing of these products. What we have in stores are stock.

Hahahah Poligrip is on the list. I guess that means there will be a lot of toothless people but if there is no food for them to eat, it won't matter.
I spoke to one of the vendors from Pepsi and he was saying that by the end of summer, there could be a shortage as aluminum is in short supply to make the cans.
