The air is as thick as soup here. DH and DS are gone for the morning, so I can finally get some housework done.

Mornin'! It's a sticky start to the day here. We had sunshine up until about half an hour ago. It's now overcast. Not sure Fay is going to come inland as far as I am but I'm sure we'll see some rain. Guess I should close up the windows before going to work. Thankfully, I only work four hours late morning and early afternoon. Maybe I'll get home before the rain comes.

I should go to the DMV and get my pic taken for my license since it was due in April and the extension ended the end of June. lol The lines there are so freakin' long though. UGH I'll wait 'til next week. lol

Does your DMV take appointments, FS? I remember when Cali started doing that and it really helped.

Just another hot, humid, and hazy southern day. Awaiting our daily thunderstorm. The question is, do we get rain with it, or not? Right now it's bright and sunny.

I need a trim, too. Caitlyn said she would do it this evening or tomorrow.

DS took the kids outside to play in the wading pool. Yeah, wear them out. I have them all weekend. When I was little and my dad went on a business trip my mom used to give us waffles with a scoop of ice cream for dinner. So that's what I'm feeding the kids tonight. LOL Next weekend is my vacay. B&B here I come!

I have officially been exposed to a coworker who is covid positive. The only time I don’t wear a mask is when I’m eating lunch in the lounge. She’s usually in there at the same time. Our lounge is tiny making it impossible for everyone to socially distance.

We went out for dinner. I had half an appetizer and was done. Just not hungry.

Got to ride in Jesse's new Jeep. It's really nice.

I have a tickle in my throat causing a cough. It isn't bad, just annoying, but it's got my inflammation on express. My ribs and back are screaming with every move. And I've pulled a muscle or something in my side. I just want to go to sleep and wake up over it all.

My brother's dog has completely destroyed his dog house. We are dog sitting while my brother takes care of getting his house ready to sell. The dog has eaten the dog house. Not joking. He eats wood all the time. Stupid dog.

Days are getting shorter, have noticed that?

Well, still have to maintain patient (coworker) privacy. Everyone who has been exposed is told someone they had contact with has a positive test. If one is exposed they can still work but must wear a mask at all times for 6 days. We mask anyways except lunch. If symptoms appear then we have to get tested.

I’ve seen dogs eat their houses. Might be anxiety.

This dog it crazy. He once dug up a root, and pulled until the tree fell.

this more seriously. I wear a
mask to protect YOU from me,
as well as me from you.

Gloves are useless, and can do
more harm than good. Both my
HMO (Humana) and my PCP
each sent me two masks for my
protection. I switch off between
them to keep them sanitary. I
hang them on the porch for two
days before bringing them in to
the house.

I also put all my groceries out
on the porch for as long as we
have sunlight, before bringing
them in, and then wash my
hands well.

She didn’t get it from work. We don’t have covid patients in the OR and she brings all her food so she never leaves the department. Probably got it in a bar because we just had a long weekend and thats where she hangs out. Really pissed because she was asking questions about the test on Wednesday. I’m guessing she suspected having it then.

I ordered a really nice dress from Skye and when they sent it, they sent two really nice masks for free. They are lined with a nice soft cotton so they feel better on the skin. More companies are doing things like this.
