We took my parents to the club for dinner last night. They're still on a somewhat limited menu, but at least they didn't serve it in the takeout containers like they did the first weekend they "reopened." It was a nice, fun evening, and the first time my parents have been out since our Greenbrier trip. So they were giddy with delight!
Today I think we'll take the boys miniature golfing. They have been wanting to do that.
Not much happening here. Supposed to storm at some point. Zucchini is growing like crazy so may make bread today.
Lily, I put the flamingos back into the garden.

I didn't get to church this morning. I went out last night, and really shouldn't have. Paying for it today.
It's just hot, humid, and miserable.
Jesse went out to discover a flat on his Jeep. Probably ran over a nail. Hopefully he can just get a patch.
Jewel's fever broke, and she is doing better.

I think those worms got my zucchini as most of my plants lost most of their leaves but the worm ran its cycle and the plants are getting a lot of new growth. Hopefully fruit will follow. I only got one before the worms hit.
Maybe put a birdbath near it? Or get some lizards.
I don't know, I have no clue.

It's a certain kind of work common to zucchinis and cucumbers. They run their course and I think they are through. Vine borers. I'll need to plant somewhere else next year because they are in the ground now. There is one generation per year.
