Cate is coming down to play.

And I have a hair appointment at 3:30.

Starting to get a little worried
about our new renters. They
were so eager to move here,
and they started moving things
here on Friday, the 31st, with the
consent of the previous renters.
They paid 7/10ths of their rent.
They moved the rest of their things
in on Saturday, and spent the night
here. I made dinner for them, along
with paper plates, plasticware, napkins.
Golden chicken bake, with a huge salad.
I know when I moved, one of our new
neighbors counted noses on the
youngsters who were helping (5 teenage
girls gets lots of help!), and grilled franks
& burgers for all of us.

Anyway, they still haven't come over
with the rest of the rent. DH is very
nervous about them.

O4, ten days will be gone before you know it.


Steamy and raining here.

Trudging through.

Trying to figure out everything I want to eat this week, I'll be having that second tooth pulled next week.

I'm going to make a cabbage casserole to go with dinner tonight. I've never heard of this, I'm curious.

So much needs doing, will get it done one step at a time.

 I hope a good solution is reached for as many as possible.

Around here, the schools are doing all kinds of things.

The parents can choose to do virtual school, home school, in school, or a combination of what ever works.

Virtual school starts Aug 18 here. Real life school starts Sept 8. I've wanted fish sticks for awhile now. Don't know why. We had princess pancakes for lunch. AKA blueberry pancakes that came out of the Disney Princess cookbook. They were good. I have a headache.

Renter came over around
6:30 - and paid the rest
of the rent. He's been on
a very big job, and wanted
