Last day of vacation. I've been cleaning the outside of the windows at the family cottage. Last weeks storm blew salt and sand all over. They look great if I do say so.

Morning all! Light day at work but I’m gonna n call thru Tuesday. Coworker has to have a procedure done and we require Covid tests and quarantine prior to surgery so she gets to spend the weekend on lockdown, lol.

Everyone was sitting quietly in the lounge. X-ray tech came in about 15 minutes ago and hasn’t shut up since. Problem is he doesn’t just talk. He asks questions continuously.

He’s pretty annoying at times. I (or anyone else) could be the only person in the lounge and he will sit right next to me even though there are at least a dozen other spots to choose.

I talked to my mom today and she said she's not gardening right now due to the heat. She said once it gets over a hundred she has a hard time in the heat. It was 106 today. We're having record breaking highs. To me once it hits 100 it's all hot.

It was fun! We went tubing down the Pigeon River, played a lot of mini golf, drove around the Smoky Mtns looking for bear, and did the go-karts. A. lot. LOL It was pretty hot but not too humid which was a break from VA.
