Good morning, Good Geeks!

Wayne is off on his bike ride. I'm watering the grass.

The kids are coming down for lunch. Shrimp Creole and Cheese Grits is on the menu.

I have another Vet appointment for Huey. He still isn't right. Blood in his urine. Argh!cry

Another hot day here, but a cold front should help. Tomorrow should be a bit cooler.

I'm not sure I ever examined a pet's pee enough to know whether there was blood. Hope they figure it out.

Cool and rainy here. In the low 70's, feels like upper 60's. Got another inch of rain. This is good for the cukes! Picked three more yesterday. The zucchini died while we were gone, however. But I have a bumper crop of tomatoes, green beans, and cukes! Peppers are doing nicely as well.

Poor Huey.

Cleaned the hummingbird feeder, letting the nectar cool now, man they went though a lot of nectar this past week. went to Lowes and bought all new smoke detectors, do you know they have a 10 year life? Mine must be 20+ years old. DS replaced all the detectors at the cottage and then told me to get enough for my house so he can swap them out. went to Lowes this morning to get a bunch, much cheaper to buy the multi pack as opposed to individual ones.

Other than that I am doing banking and watching HGTV

 

Oh DS gives my dill pickles 5 thumbs up.

Well, the Vet did an ultrasound of Huey's bladder. No big stones.

He figures it must be a bacteria causing the infection. He put Huey on a different antibiotic for ten days.

And, sent a urine sample to the lab, for testing. $328 later...I sure hope these meds work!

This cat is going to break us!crywink

So out of curiosity I looked up Dirty John on Netflix. There's a whole series about him. I'm currently watching it.
