Seems hospitals are hurting financially since the whole covid thing and others opting out of surgeries / treatments non-covid related. No way would I pay up front.

It's a beautiful start to the day here. Lots of sunshine but low humidity right now. I'm off today so the plan is to get some laundry done. However, my lower back is saying nope! I have to power through it though as I've almost run out of undies. *blushes*

Other than that, a slow, lazy day here. I may go rock hunting later . . . depending on my back. Have a great day!

Hahaha c'mon over!!! There are some beautiful rocks down at the river . . . all smooth from the water rushing over them through the years. Some have a coppery, rusty coloring to them. I've decided that I'm going to poly them so they always look wet, which will enhance the colors! But, I've decided not to go today. My back just keeps saying "no way" so maybe my next day off (Sunday). I only need about a dozen or so more.

I'll post pics but there won't be any flowers until Spring. Remind me and I'll post again in Spring when / if the bulbs produce. I'm praying the squirrels don't harvest them before winter. lol

I had to pay for my eye surgery before I had it. It was kind of weird. Never had to do that before. Still got bills later on from different departments though.

John was sending texts to my old email account up until the day before the attack, basically saying his goodbyes. I think he knew his end was near. The last thing he said was take care of those kids. Gives me the creeps knowing what he tried to do to his wife's daughter.

We had roofing issues last winter. Fortunately it was around the garage and not over the living space. I found a guy off Angie's List who came right out because the guy who installed the roof refused to believe there was a leak and wouldn't even come out to look.
