Hugs again FWM. nice you have Cate to make you smile.
Work has been tough the past 6 hours. But done with a deadline. Just breathing now.
Down here, each city sets the hours. Fort Worth has always had T o T from 6 to 8, on Halloween. (They have never moved it to a Saturday.)
We usually get a pretty good crowd. Around 125 kids. Last year, we only got around 80. (The kids are growing up, I guess.)
I'm just wondering how many parents will think it's safe to take their children out this year. Or, if local governments will discourage folks from taking part.
I guess, time will tell.
I always loved passing out candy to the children. My neighbor and I sit in my driveway and visit, while we pass out treats. I will be sad, if we can't do that this year.
The boys have aged out of ToTing this year. #2 did it last year, but he won't this year. No interest. They have no interest in scaring the little ones either. So we'll decorate and put out pumpkins, answer the door. We have a lot of little ones in the neighborhood, so I suspect it will be busy. They have been holding a "camp culdesac" all summer for the small ones so it doesn't appear the neighbors are concerned about it being "safe".

It's kind of a sad milestone, when they get older, and no longer want to go out, for Trick-or treat.
I love it, so much! I always did!
I'd rather run around and collect candy, and share it with my Dad...than get gifts on Christmas! LOL! So much fun!
I hope we will get some Trick-or-treaters! I really get a charge out of it!
So, we will wait, and see.
(In the past, we have bought so much candy. More than $100 worth. And, had so much fun, passing it out. I just don't know, what will happen, this year.)
I'm trying not to buy candy because I'll eat it, lol. Trying to drop a few pounds.
I've thought about making treat bags and giving to the kids in nearby houses.

Different here. The kids to include teens have so much fun. I am going to miss that if the families don't allow their kids to go out.
