None of the major news stations, except Fox,carried any coverage of ceremonies this morning is my understanding.

It's weird to realize my SS wasn't even born when this happened. He only knows about it from books. We got home late yesterday. It was a rough trip. Glad to be home. Everything went well except the part where they let the cat walk on the table during dinner. He kept waving his tail in my food.

GMA had small segments on at the time of each plane hit. Still brought tears to my eyes 19 years later. Neither of my grands were born when this happened.

It's been a very cool, breezy, lack of sunshine day here. Going to run out to run some errands and waste the day since I'm off work. lol

I was working for DOJ in Alexandria at the time. Saw the smoke coming from the pentagon. Reports were there was another plane headed for the Capitol. After the Pentagon was hit, we all fled. Except for a few who had to man the place and spend the night.

Good evening! I’m glad you posted that I had at least 4 so I blockedthem, thank you for sharing, I can’t believe it’s been 19 yrs since 911 happened, glad fox showed the events, I’m sure the other media sources don’t want to offend anyone.

Finally got all my jewelry except one silver chain and one earring back, we also changed all our alarm codes and lock. I’ve been wanting ew door knobs anyway.

I had a great time! I met his two sisters. They were very nice. Both retired nurses. One was very welcoming and talked to me a bunch. She gave me a big hug when I left which I guess doesn't happen often. The other one is cute as a button. Little tiny old thing. She laughs a lot. I went over and gave her a hug when I was leaving and she thanked me and said she wanted to give me a hug but her legs don't work anymore. I met the brothers wife and we got along fabulously. She was super nice and we love the same kind of movies so we watched a lot of TV together. We had a grumpy old men marathon. I got to meet HER sister and brother in law as they came for dinner one night. Her brother in law was really nice but her sister was kind of...not sure of the word I'm looking for. She kept making kind of rude comments. She saw the cinnamon rolls I made and asked her sister where she bought the cake. M said Oh, no, NJN made us home made cinnamon rolls. Sister said Those are some weird looking cinnamon rolls. M said, Oh they're very good. Sister said, I'll have to trust you on that one because I wouldn't eat them. She paced around the house a lot making kind of rude comments. The cat thing was very off putting. It normally doesn't bother me to see a cat on the table or counter because you can wipe them down. But they actually encourage it. They feed the cats on the counter. And the one cat walks around the table during meal times. Once he stuck his tail in my coffee. Yuck. We went to Bonnie and Clyde's hideout and checked it out. They have turned it into a B&B now and you can spend the night there. He is talking about spending the weekend there sometime. We got in a huge fight while we were there but then made up. I think it's the first big fight we've ever had. We also took his jeep down to the ferry and rode across the river. I did some shopping while I was there. Bought the grandbaby a t-shirt. Brother and M said they had never tried Brie cheese so I went out and got the stuff to make a Brie wheel. They both hated it. Said Longhorn cheese and Kraft slices are way better. Yuck. LOL I guess all those years married to a Brit has refined my cheese tastes.
