Nice sunny day here. My treat bags are all made up. We're going to put them on our card table at the end of the driveway, and sit back by the garage, to see the little goblins from a safe distance.
Funny FWM. I am trying to decide what to do about the candy. Treat bags seem to be sold out around me. I do have snack bag size ziplocks so may use those. Next issue in my walkway is slippery so I really do not want anyone trying to walk up it. Temps just hit 33, if it gets to around 40 while we still have sun light I might have the opportunity to make the walkway safer. So Frustrating.
Happy Halloween.

Good morning, have fun seeing the kiddos tonight, living out of town I don’t get any trick or treaters. My grandson doesn’t like to dress up or is a big fan of trick or treating, so I’m making chili, will fix both boys a goodie bag and will watch the great pumpkin Charlie Brown.
DH carved a bat into the pumpkin and I roasted the seeds. The table is set and I made a blood dripping candle to add to the centerpiece. We're having a taco bar and my parents are coming over.
The little ones in the neighborhood are having a costume parade later then trick or treating at 5:30. For those willing, we will have tables at the end of the driveway with candy either spread out or put in goodie bags. I wrapped up about 25 bags and I'm prepared to make more if needed. We'll have a white sheet over the table with the pumpkin on for decoration. I have a couple strobe lights to put inside.
I scraped the walkway and driveway, then put ice melt down. Waited a bit and went back out and scraped again. Sun is now beating down on most of the driveway and walkway so it should all dry before the temp drops to freezing again. So happy.
I didn't do pumpkins this year.

Afternoon everyone! Sounds like most of you are ready for the little goblins! lol I don't bother any more. I never get them here since it's pretty rural and on kids on the complex. Kinda sad.
It's a dreay chilly damp day here but the rain finally stopped. Never did get the bulbs planted yet. Shooting for tomorrow! lol Just been puttering around the house so far getting some things done in the spare room which will soon be dubbed my office! YAY!
That's about it from this neck of the world. Hope everyone has a funfilled day with kiddos and family.
I can't sleep for anything! I am going to be dragging tonight. Bah. OTOH, we just got boo'ed. Our neighborhood has done this thing where everyone signs up and we take turns leaving Halloween baskets on people's doorsteps. When you get one you have to go to the list and tell everyone that you received your basket and then you must turn around and leave a basket for someone else. We picked a family with six boys. It was a ball making a basket for them. We put in Uno cards, Adams family movie, popcorn, candy, drinks, and a bunch of other little goods. I signed the three boys up for getting boo'ed and they each got a coloring book and crayons, a drink, a movie, and a bunch of other stuff. They'll be so excited on Monday morning. We're having a pot luck at work tonight. I'm bringing chili and cinnamon rolls. The other nurse seems to be marching to a beat of her own and is bringing a pot of beans. We have plates and bowls, drinks, cheese and onions, cornbread, and fritos coming. Should be fun. Next weekend we're going to see my mom. I have talked her to death about this. Every time we talk I tell her the first Saturday of November. She even told me they were canceling a wedding to see the great grand baby. So today she messaged me to see if I was in an accident because I hadn't made it there. LOL Um no. It's still October mom. Boy, her memory. We're all ready for the trick or treaters tonight. We usually get a decent amount so we will see.
How come witches never have babies?
Their husbands have hollow weenies.
