I realized the Master's was on...and got nothing done in the garden yesterday! I watched the Golf, instead!biggrin Cate is coming down to play.

The kids will forage for dinner, so I don't have to cook. Other than that, not much else happening here.

How about with you?

I don't know how much longer I can keep working two jobs. It's okay on the weekend but I've been pulling a couple week day nights as well. The new nurse got fired for stealing massive amounts of narcotics. I stayed home last night and did some upkeep on me. Dyed my hair and shaved and such. I had promised DD I'd come see the baby and SS I'd take him out to dinner but that was a no go.

Used the vision benefit this morning for dd and I this for first time this year the benefit allows a pair of glasses / contacts ever calendar year so needed to get that done. I ordered myself sunglasses and DD contacts. If need be we can go in January for others.

Working away. Should be done soon. I am tired. Probably due to the weather.

Plan getting a pedi this weekend and do the menu planning for Thanksgiving.

The Masters....that must be what DH was listening to this morning...

I hate the media. They are so divisive. I tune in at noon to see what's happening locally and it's terrible. Just give me the weather, stop with the slant reporting!

The vision part on my insurance sucks. They only pay for exams every other year and they don't cover glasses or contacts. It's open season so I'm switching. I'll save almost $500 every two weeks. I had good health coverage and never really compared until now. I was getting my retirement figures and saw how much was eaten up with my premium and decided to shop. Holly cow. I will be getting very similar coverage for so much less. Not sure if the vision is better but don't really care since I'm used to paying out of pocket anyway.

Good evening, everyone! I'm so glad the day is over. I have a three-day weekend off! YAY me! I've not been sleeping well so I'm just exhausted right now and trying to get warm. I'm chilled to the bone from work. A shower will help.

Tomorrow, well, the "plan" is to get back in the spare room since I've not made much headway in there other than that one day. So, with a three-day weekend, I'm forcing myself to get it done, damnit. lol

Other than that, not much else on the agenda. I was going to shop for T-day after work today but, I'll wait until next week when I have a short day and get it done then. I don't need much as I think it's just going to be me so I'll roast up a small bit of turkey, filling and a veggie.

Oh, PS, I tuned in the radio in the Jeep while I was having my lunch today and heard Obama saying how dangerous and dire it is for the country to not have Trump acknowledge Biden as the President. Sheesh, will Obama ever just go away. The country is not in any danger.
