Good Monday morning! It's a chilly start here with temps in the low 40s but it's super windy. I finally made my way to the spare room closet. It was a chore since there was soooo much stuff in there I couldn't get to it. So, I will be pulling out all the boxes of stuff stored in there and moving at least half of it to the outdoor storage closet. But, not today. I'm not good in windy weather with my copd. I'll work on it through the week and I'm off this coming Saturday. Temps then will be in the 60s.
When I moved back from NH, I had to purchase a small, rollable kitchen island. It measures 36" H x 30" w x 22" d with a stainless steel stop. It's gray. It happens to match DGD#1's newly painted kitchen cabinets in her home. She asked if she could have it as she wants to use it as a coffee station. I'm happy to let her have it because it does me no good sitting the spare room and it won't fit in my kitchen so . . . YAY for getting rid of it and having more room in the spare room to set up my office.
The day will be a slow one as I'm just going to putter around the house. I'm fighting a sinus infection. Thankfully, I have a doctor's appt tomorrow. Inspite of it all with 2020 being a really sucky year, life is good!
Enjoy your day!

It's chilly here (I think). I haven't been outside yet. I was all dressed and ready to go to the store then got called in to a meeting at 10 so here I sit. I hate it when work interferes with my personal life. LOL
Afternoon all!
Sucky Monday. We got a new computer at work. Old one was windowsXP. The guy installed it Friday after everyone but the new girl left. Turned it on this morning and the screen was blank. None of our files were on it. Sheer panic. Everything finally got ironed out later on. But, no speaker! Thankfully I keep a Bluetooth speaker in the department and can use SiriusXM.
Then one of my coworkers gave notice. This will really hurt us since we are already short handed. I’m tired of it. I will be making a resume and job hunting after the holidays. Been at the same job 23 years.
Mine started blinking furiously last week and I realized it was out of power. It was plugged in to a 3way into the wall which is the same 3 way for over a year so I'm not sure what the problem was. The other thing I had plugged into it was fine. So I plugged it directly into the wall plug and now it's fine. The weirdest thing though. Usually when power gets low something will come up and tell you and when it's done it's done. This thing was just flickering like crazy.
I ordered a lap top for myself the other day it was a black Friday and restricted to one per customer. Had a friend order a second one. DDs big Xmas gift. Done shopping for DS. Next is underwear, gift cards, and PJs for everyone.
