Ugh.  The whole area is an ice field here.  Deadly.

Good morning, my pretties!

Be careful out there, Trudy!

No ice here. Just another nice, sunny, Fall day.

I'm going to get the rest of my indoor decorations up today.

And maybe do some shopping online.

Not much else is going on.

How about with you?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

I ran to the Wuhan Market for veggies. It's bitter cold out because of winds. I'm going out later just to get some fresh air. It's sunny and pretty.

So bored. Not much I can do yet.
Once DS is done with work and DD is done with school we are going to Ocean State Job Lots to poke around for stocking stuffers. Its a couple of steps up from dollar stores. Looking forward to it. That defines how bored I am.

Trudy when I saw the title of the post I knew it was you. Several highways shut down. So much ice.
Have fun geeks!

When I lived in WV I suffered through a lot of ice storms. At first I didn't know what to do. I had 1/2 " thick layer on my car and could barely open the door. Then there was no way I could see out that windshield. So I noticed a lot of cars in the parking lot running with no one in them. I started mine and went back into the house.

Then I watched out the window at my next door neighbor. We worked together. I watched her slip and fall on her rump, get back up, start her car, then return inside. About 15 minutes later our cars were melted and off we went. She told me about how she names her falls. She wears lots of padding on her behind when she goes out because she knows it's inevitable.

We haven't had ice to speak of since I was pregnant and climbing up our icy grassy hill to avoid the asphalt where I knew I would slip. And the last couple of years we haven't had enough snow to even play in.

Good late morning! Be careful Trudy, hello fwm, fnw, & ikwtd 👋🏻 Took my husband to get his procedure done and the fog was so thick we could barely see, haven’t seen fog this thick since I lived in California.

Finished the daycare Christmas shopping. I bought decorated brown bags and we stuffed them with candy and trinkets for the brothers and sisters of the kids who attend. We have a party on the 21st. We will do pizza and soda. I usually have beer but this year I have an alcoholic father that I don't want to get out of hand. As far as Christmas goes I just need to get the gift certificates for DD and SIL. Then comes the dreaded wrapping.

Ex DH and I are on speaking terms. Divorce has been filed and should be finalized in January. Took a month extra but I get to stay on his health insurance an extra month.
