Off today. Trying to do some stuff around the house. I’m going to meet a friend for lunch. Nothing really planned to bring in the new year. I’m sure I’ll sleep through it.

I worked a full day at the store. It was a total madhouse from opening at 7 until I left at 3:30 and they were still pouring in. It was almost as busy as it was during the TP rush back in March or April. Most people were pleasant but there's always a handful, unfortunately, who just have to try to spoil your day! May the bluebird of happiness crap on their heads all 2021.
I have an early call to work tomorrow morning so no drinking for me. I probably will be in bed long before midnight. I hope you all have a wonderful evening.
Glad to see you again ikwtd! Happy new year to all the Geeks 🎉🥳🥂. Watched my grandchildren today, will read a book, listen o music and enjoy a glass of wine, and wait for my husband to finish closing up the year at work.
We were at the resort (Omni Homestead) and didn't stay up. There was a NYE party taking place in the main dining room, so we got to see a lot of people dressed to the nines milling about. Most checked out the next day. I understand the resort will be closed during weekdays now and only open weekends due to the affect COVID has had on business. Even when we were there, the place was not crowded at all.
