Good morning, my pretties!

Another cool start to the day. But sunny, and heading for a high around 60.

The kids will probably come down for dinner. I'm making Beef Bourguignon.

We ran to Costco yesterday. And I watched some figure skating.

Other than that, it was a slow day.

I need to run to Kroger to get the rest of the fixings for dinner.

I think Wayne is going to try to get a bike ride in today.

Not much else is happening here.

How about you?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

Morning!! Chilly start for us, only 31!! Brrrr!! The sun is out and the birds are singing. It’s supposed to be in the middle d 50’s today. I’m so ready for spring.
Getting ready to run DD to work and then do a little Sunday morning drive.
I really need a o do some stuff around the house today since I was a total slug yesterday.
Have a great day all!

Chilly morning here, too. I'm sending DH off to pick up some soil so I can start my seeds in a week or so. Spring will creep up before we know it. Tomorrow the boys and I have off but there aren't any good movies to take them to see. Well, none that they want to see anyway, and even good ones aren't being shown during the day, only in the evening. Such a shame.

Chilly start here as well. Saw a few snow flakes drifting around but nothing now. Still very overcast, dreary and damp. Just hanging at home since I'm off today and puttering around. Trying to decide if I want a beef roast for dinner or some haddock. So far, the fish is winning. lol

Good afternoon! Went to Church, first time since before covid that I had all my Sunday School kiddos, washed my car and bought essentials.

One thing I have noticed on my walks is several people in the neighborhood have put wooden signs, small ones, with hearts painted on them at the end of their driveway near the mailbox. I wonder if this is supposed to mean something.

Other than Christmas Eve, today
was the first time that we used the
church building since everything
was shut down. Zoom church at
9:30, then in-person at 11:00,
plus lots of people in their cars
outside in the parking lot. I even
got to do the flowers for the altar.

I’m not sure if this is the reason,  but I looked it up.  red is for frontline medical workers treating covi, blue is for first responders like emt’s, green is for food chain such as grocery employees, their is another color heart for distributio, such as those who delivers product.   It’s a way to show appreciation.  I’m no sure if that is what your neighbors are doin, but it was what I found.

Thanks, that's interesting. I think one was red, one was blue but another was yellow. Not sure what that one is for.

That may be for the distribution.  I couldn’t remember the exact color.
