Good morning, my pretties!

Another drab, drizzly day, here.

I don't have much going on.

How about you?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

Good afternoon, FWM.
We are enjoying another sunny day here. One more day closer to spring.
Not much planned for today here either. Still knitting. Measured the scarf for the grandson and am well over half done. He loves it already.😊
Will have the two youngest grands this evening. DGD plans to work on her knitting skills while here. So fun passing on generations of skills. She’s catching on quickly.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.🥰

Good afternoon! I'm going for a walk in a bit. It's sunny but cold here. The neighbors are having tree work done so we are taking the wood chips. I want to use them in the north 40 to keep the weeds down around the veggie gardens. I'll be starting my seeds this weekend!

I made pasta last night for the first time. I got an attachment to my KitchenAid and loved it. It was a lot more work than using boxed dry pasta but worth it. It absorbed the sauce much better and tasted so fresh.

FNW, glad you made your own pasta. I will have to look into getting that attachment. DD makes her own pasta and I think she has the attachment. Will have to ask her about it.

It takes a bit of time, as you have to kneed the dough for about 10 minutes and let it rest for 45, but it's much better.

I miss you all.
Had to take DD for a covid test. Her health insurance was cancelled. FH is court ordered to pay for insurance. He apparently retired at the end of the year. Meeting with my lawyer tomorrow. He is in a boatload of trouble.

Not sure how much more stress I can handle.

He let her insurance cancel without telling you????

Can you add her to yours and he pay you?  A lot???

IKWTDS I would be furious!! Did you speak with ex about it?
Homemade pasta sounds yummy!!
I really need to get back into knitting. Since I’ve been crocheting so long knitting is very hard for me and takes so much longer.
FWM I think we are getting your rain tomorrow.
I had to run outside this morning to help boss lady and this was my reward. Beautiful sunrise!

What a beautiful sunrise. I've been enjoying my kids before I close the daycare. Going back into nursing full time.

We ordered our wedding bands and cake topper today. Ex DH called me to tell me he's getting married Saturday. The divorce was just final Tuesday. LOL

It seems that way to many but there are some huge differences.  He met this woman while we were married and jumped into bed with her.  He moved out of my house straight into hers and also is planning on marrying her while the ink is still wet on the divorce papers.  When he left me I freaking panicked.  Not gonna lie.  But it was extremely important to me that I learn to be independent.  And it's been a whole year since he left and I am working and paying bills all on my own.  I am figuring out things like health insurance, car insurance, and all of those decisions I never had to make or pay for before this.  But I'm doing it.  And I will continue to be independent for this coming year because, unlike my ex, I am not jumping right into marriage.  We are not planning on getting married until 12-31 so there is plenty of time to reconsider if we feel like we're making a mistake.  Also, ex DH and I met DF five years ago at a function and all three of us were good friends.  Nothing intimate going on between us at all but I got to know him very well.  We've been friends for quite awhile so he's not some random stranger I decided to bring home and screw.  And anyway, none of this really matters because people will believe whatever they want to believe regardless of what the truth is.  And at the end of the day the only one I have to answer to is myself and I'm perfectly okay with what is going on.  I wish ex DH all the happiness in the world.  I hold no ill will toward him.  She will be wife number five for him so I have no doubt the pattern will repeat itself.  I do find it humorous that he is remarrying so quickly.  He told his son through text and didn't even invite him to the wedding.  He didn't even tell his son's mom.  He told his son to tell her.  So yes, there are definitely some differences in how we have both handled things.
