Chilly and rainy here. Tomorrow too. I ran out earlier and got some groceries. Now I’m just sitting at home. I guess I’ll find a project. whats everyone up to today?
High of mid 20's, low in the
single digits. Unheard of in
San Antonio!
Got all three of my outdoor
kitties inside. One is curled
up on a comforter in the
laundry room, one is eating
like a glutton, and one is
meowing and searching for
a hidey-hole. Unusual, since
he used to be an indoor/
outdoor cat with his former
family.
Our front porch is treacherous
with ice. We've got food (and
cat food) for over a week, so
we'll be staying in. One of
our neighbors (with 4 wheel
drive) called to ask if we
needed anything, since they
were going to town. Same
ones who brought us food
earlier in the week.
We are stocked up for the coming storm. It probably won't get bad until tomorrow night. They said we should expect 4 to 8 inches of snow, and wind chill of -15.
I think I'll hibernate!
We made a pot of chili, and I'll make some corn bread muffins. The kids will come down for dinner. Might be the last time I see them for a few days.
Wayne's sister is in the hospital. Afib. They think they got it under control, but they will probably keep her a couple more days.
Yes, it's true, I watched it live. There were a couple surprise votes (SC, LA) against him but he was still acquitted. His statement says he is continuing the MAGA movement and will have great news to share in the coming weeks.

Evening everyone. Please, all of you in the storm's way, be safe!!! Initially they were expecting this to come as far north as I am but so far, we got nothing. That's not to say we won't as the evening progresses or tomorrow. I'm grateful I'm off tomorrow in case we do get it. But, it seems those south of me are getting the brunt of it.
A slow day here just puttering around the house. I'm cleaning out and shredding from my file cabinet years worth of unnecessary paperwork. I've filled one large lawn bag so far. hahaha Lots more to do.
Planning to do baking and cooking tomorrow, along with some more work in the spare room. I managed to throw away two 13-gallon bags of junk so far today. It's a start.
