One of the kitties pushed
over a stack of recipes I've
been saving for a couple of
years. At least they all were
right side up. So I've been
going through them, to see
if there are any I still want
to save. Can hardly wait to
be able to go to the store
and get some of the few
ingredients I don't have.
Our local HEB closed early
yesterday, and opened up
late today. They want to
keep their employees safe!

We got about 8 inches of snow. My dog won't go out and go pee or poop. She stands on the patio and leans her butt over it and does her business then comes back in and climbs in under my covers. Spoiled little princess. I haven't been out in three days. It's all frozen here. Not so much the snow but on Thursday we started getting sleet and it's never melted. Roads are pure ice. Of course, I had no kids today. Everyone is iced in. I made two batches of cinnamon rolls and am starting on a batch of chili. MY DD hasn't had power in 24 hours. They don't want to drive the 30 minutes to my house in the ice. They are taking turns sitting in the van with the baby. Momala, all our stores have closed down. We did have a four hour loss of power in the middle of the night but things are back on. We're supposed to be keeping our heat down and not using appliances to save electricity. We currently have rolling blackouts right now. Will be glad when this is all over.

Finally have power, my pretties!

It went out at 2 am. and just came back on at 4:45 pm. Our house is freezing cold. I hope it stays on long enough to warm things up, before it goes out again.

We got about 4 inches of snow. It was 2 degrees this morning, with a wind chill of -20.

This is the pits. cry

And more snow is supposed to come in on Wednesday.

Good grief! Shoot me now!

Snow is expected here Thursday. 6-8 inches, but we'll see. I booked our summer vacation. A cruise to the Bahamas. Thinking warm. LOL

Good evening! Holy your daughters heat comes on soon njn, is there a warming center they could go to? Hope all the Texan geeks stay safe and warm, 4 degrees below 0 here and a few inches of snow as well. Glad I got a new furnace.
