Good morning, FWM. We are a bit warmer today, it’s 9 degrees which is much better than the -4 earlier this morning. We have not lost power but are still in the warned zone. West and east of us did loose power for a few hours yesterday. To close for comfort in my opinion.
Looking forward to Ash Wednesday services this evening. Hard to believe it is Lent already.
Hope Wayne gets the car going and you all stay safe and warm.

We've been very fortunate - no
power outage, but we did have
one pipe burst. Fortunately, it
was above a valve that DH had
installed last year, so we just
shut it off, and will wait until
the weekend to repair it.
27 is our expected temp this
evening, then more snow
tomorrow. And we're out
of wood for the fireplace.
Fortunately our stove runs on
propane, and we have s full
tank. So if we should lose
power during the night, we
can heat our home to some
degree, until the electric is
up and running again.
I'm glad you haven't lost power, Momala. It's no fun. I hope yours stays on.
Three of our neighbors have had pipes burst.
Laurie and Mike, got it bad. Pipes in their upstairs bathroom burst. Their hardwood floors and walls are buckling. What a mess! I feel so bad for them.
Oh well. I hope we get some warmer weather soon.
Wayne managed to get gas in his car.
He's at Costco now. No milk or dairy at Kroger. Hoping to get some milk and butter and probably more bird seed.

I would be curious to know if you are positive now but asymptomatic. Because from what I have heard, the vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting it, only reduces your body's reaction to it. Which means you should still be able to spread it, I would think. They aren't sure about that yet either.

The storm is moving in my direction. We're expecting 6" to 10" starting around midnight and going through to Friday morning. I'm so glad I don't have to work tomorrow. I can sit in my nice warm apartment watching the snow fall from my comfy chair out the balcony door. lol
Yes, the vaccine does not stop the spread or one from getting covid. It just lessens the disease's severity if you get it. Many have gotten covid after receiving the second shot.
Anyone hear from IKWTDS latel?

We're hanging in. Power has stayed on through the night. We still have to boil our water.
