It includes 200 million for an underground tunnel in Silicon Valley (in Nancy Pelosi's district)
It includes 300 million to study Covid in animals
The bill allocates $135 million to the National Endowment for the Arts and another $135 million to the National Endowment of the Humanities and also allocates $200 million to the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Airlines get $15 billion
10 million for the preservation of Native American languages (which I'm not totally against but what does it have to do with Covid relief)
50 million for family planning (which may include abortion)
100 million for the EPA to address “health outcome disparities from pollution and the COVID pandemic,” 50 million for “environmental justice” and “tackling the climate crisis” as well as 50 million for the Clean Air Act.
300 million to WHO
A billion dollars to campaign to convince people to get the vaccine
750 million to be sent abroad for various and sundry reasons
And a whopping 350 billion to bail out stupid Dem cities from their own policies.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Except maybe preserving native languages, the rest is a huge waste, I believe the National endowment of the arts is a huge farce, a organization that claims a crucifix in a jar of urine is art.
Pork. I hope it's rejected. But who knows. The reps and dems are one in the same. It's just a dog and pony show at this point. We have no election, we have selection.
They should just take that billion and give it to the pharmaceuticals since that's what the vaccine is all about and leave the American people alone.
I believe the dems can pass this without Republican approval. Last I heard the $15 an hour was to be reached by 2025 or 27, not sure. There is going to be a huge amount of spending in the next four years. Our great, great grands are going to be paying for all this for decades.
People have no idea the impact of raising the mininimum wage. For example, if you raise the CNA's wage then the LVN's are going to want more so that they are not making a dollar or two more then them. So raise their wage. Then the RN's are going to want a raise because we want our work to be valued. Then the next person up is going to want more. I don't think people think this through very carefully.

I remember when raising the minimum wage started making news, our McDonald’s opened a kiosk that will take orders and payments. I don’t believe it’s going to benefit as many people as they think, plus majority of minimum wage jobs are entry level jobs for teenagers, college students and retirees for gas money, date money etc.. never was designed to make a living.
