My best friend's mama is in the hospital. Her oxygen levels are really low and there is fluid on her lungs (no pneumonia, yet). Last night, switching her from the wheelchair to her hospital bed, her oxygen saturation level dropped to 61. She is on 15 liters of oxygen. No Covid. Thinking it's heart failure. She has survived cancer 3 times and has COPD. The chemo damaged her heart. She's 77. I did her Advanced Directive for her and she says no ventilator. We are preparing for the worst.
