Morning!! Brrrrrr!! 48 and raining, yuck.
Headed into work, yay me. Hopefully I won’t be there too long. A friend wants me to help her do a better job at grocery shopping. I told her to start by planning out her meals for the week and we can go from there.

Brrr is right. 25 here but full sunshine. Expected to get to the mid 60s for the day. YAY! Sippin my cuppa and watching a bit of news. Gotta get the garbage together and out to the dumpster, dishes are done, bed's made. Need to clean the bathroom and clean out the fridge / freezer.

SB, I used to plan out the meals for the week and shop accordingly. It does save money. Since it's just me now, I don't bother.

Enjoy the day, peeps!

Good morning, my pretties!

In the 40's now. High in the low 70's later. Mix of clouds and sun.

The kids are coming down for lunch. Philly Cheesesteak sloppy Joe's are the plan. Maybe french fries to go with.

We kept busy yesterday with yard work and car washing.

Hoping for a slower day, today.

I hope everyone has a good one!smile

I started doing grocery shopping through instacart. Sure I pay more in delivery fees, tips, etc., but it keeps me out of the store and from impulse buying. Plus I can shop Aldi. My weekly bill has been cut in half. I've been doing this for a few weeks. I went from spending $100 on average to $50. Plus it's convenient. And I have done this with BJ's, too. Down from $300 to $100 about once every few weeks or so for bulk items I go through quickly like flour & coffee. I have enough toothpaste now to last a year. LOL

I order a lot of my non food items from Amazon. I can usually get things in large amounts for a great price.
I also order cat food and litter from chewy. I love not having to tote around heavy items. They just come right to my door.
