Good Sunday morning! I was up at the crack of dawn, put the coffee on, did the dishes, made the bed, dug a few things out of the outdoor closet to put in the flower bed, walked the garbage down to the dumpster and just as I got back in and poured my first cuppa, the sky opened up and it's pouring. It's supposed to rain all day with possible lightning.
Just hanging at home today, repotting some plants and puttering around.
Enjoy your BBQ! It's raining here as well, FS. Supposed to rain all day. We got a lot of yardwork done yesterday, but still have a few bags of mulch left to lay down. I guess it will have to wait.
Morning! Picked up a few things at the store and rearranged the back porch. Now I’m just chilling outside. It’s so quiet right now. Nobody is blasting boom boom music and not jets buzzing the house. Just the sound of the birds and a wasp I have not located.
Still feeling the after-effects of
the second shot. Low-grade
fever, nausea, aches, the whole
nine yards. At least I don't
have to do anything today but
stay in bed, and binge watch
Murder, She Wrote. DH made
some soup for me (from the
freezer), so I'm good for the
rest of the day.
Well, I got a bit side tracked today. I was standing at the balcony door and I noticed it smelled like cigarette smoke. So, out came the window cleaner. Needless to say, Every window in the apartment got cleaned. Also, all the mirrors, glass clock door, hutch and anything else that was glass like my lamp shades. hahaha The rags used had to be thrown away. They were beyond filthy, cruddy, yucky, smelly, stinky.
Rained all day but no lightning, dagnabit. Got the plants repotted. Put away some of the winter clothing and got out some of the spring / summer ones. Heading out to the kitchen now to make some crab.
