Cate is coming down to play. Maybe we'll putter in the garden some more.

I have to call my sister Monica later. She's 79 today! I have to give her grief!biggrin

Other than that, not much is happening here.

The last of the 70's!

DH felt the side effects of the jab yesterday. He's much better today now. Of course, he doesn't tell me at the time, he waits. Ugh, men.

And now the in fighting among the big pharma. My vax is better than yours, my vax is safer than yours. Why the big push for the mRNA vax? I smell a rat.

Good day here. I am off. Going to see the grandbaby tonight. I always bring presents. I'm like the perpetual santa claus. DF is coming soon. I have a three day weekend and am going to take a fourth day off. Love spending time with him. He loves to take me to work and then pick me up early in the morning and take me for breakfast. There's a little cafe that's so popular right around the corner from where I work. They open up about 15 minutes after I get off. They make the best biscuits ever. We always sit there and talk about my night. It's so nice. My sister is visiting from CA for a month. We're going to go out to visit my parents and see her. Should be interesting. She's drama. But it's only one visit. Ya'll all have a good day.

Evening, all. Been an overcast, sprinkly kind of day here. Grabbed the neighbor friend and went to the open-air market about 45 minutes away. We had a hell of a time getting there. First, the road I needed to take was shut down by cops and fire trucks. Worked my way around that and in the course of driving up there and back home, we ran into six other incidents with police or fire trucks in our way or off to the side. I've never had so many incidents occur in such a short span of time. hahahah Picked up some nice fruits and veggies and some of my favorite donuts and sticky buns. YUM! Oh and had some fresh cut fries! mmm mmm

It's chilly and damp so I just put on some coffee. All the trees here are pushing their leaves. It's sooooo nice to see the fresh new green like bright lime green. Also, my tulips are finally starting to push their buds and are slowly opening. When the sun's out, I'll have to take some pics to post. Not sure what's for dinner tonight. Maybe just more snacking.

Oh, it's been almost six weeks since I've had a smoke! *woohoo! Happy dancin!*

Happy Birthday to your sister fwm!🎂🥳🎉🎁🍰🌻🎊🎈, hello Trudy, hello fnw, glad your husband is feeling better, I’m going to wait awhile before I decide to take the vaccine, one to wait to see who has the least side effects and I need to get a shingle shot, I’m more worried about getting shingles then covid. Enjoy your time off and visit with your fiancé and family njn, hello FS, enjoy your coffee and the pretty day.

Watching the littles and going to Church tonight, we have a evangelist who is from India, he is pretty interesting.

Hope ikwtd is doing well, miss lily and Karl.

I have had shingles. It's no big deal as long as you start treatment within 3 days. I started mine at day two, when the rash appeared. Yeah, it was painful, but I was still functional. Stress brings it out.

Where is Karl! I'm worried.

DH got his 2nd Pfizer shot this
morning. He's "watching" TV
(with his eyes closed!). At
the moment, he's a little bit
dizzy, so I gave him more
water and some tylenol. I
think I'll make some kind of
soup for dinner, easy on his
tummy.
