Good mornin! Wild week, soccer game, watching 3 very, very , active grandkids, especially a soon to be 3 year old and a one year old who is a new walker who is into everythin. Their mother was state champion in track in college, so I’m thinking they are taking after their mother. I love them and I wouldn’t change a thing except wish I was ten years younger. Having some girls from my class I teach at Church for the annual sleep over tonight, they like to sit in my jacuzzi, will light the tiki torches and firepit and give it a resort atmospher.
MAJOR storm ripping through the
area - the town next to us got 7"
of rain! 7! DH hasn't checked
his new rain gauge yet - I got it
up on the fence while he was
down feeding the perch! Early
birthday present! Its one with
a floating level marker, that we
can see from the living room
window, so we don't even need
to go outside.
His son is coming from LA to go
fishing with him Tues-Thurs - on
his motorcycle. I hope all the
rain lets up for him. Rain and
motorcycles don't mix well. He
always wears a helmet, and
leather jacket/chaps, so if he
should spill his bike, at least
he won't get road rash, and
his head is protected.
I'm making shrimp ****tail, and
two kinds of deviled eggs for
them while they are in the motel.
DS won't eat anything with pickles
in it, and DH loves my deviled eggs,
that have minced onion, minced dill
pickle, and wasabi sauce (that tangy
green paste that you get with sushi).
I'm staying home, to give them some
together time. I hope they bring
home lots of fish for me to clean!
