Good afternoon! Survived the sleep over, actually it was fun, had pizza, made brownie, watched the movie versions of Disney Aladdin, and beauty and the beast, sat in the jacuzz, roasted marshmallows and played cards to well after midnigh, then worked at the Church. A little tired right now.
Afternoon!! Beautiful Saturday here! Drama in the ‘hood. Sat on the back porch and had a bowl of popcorn. All is quiet now but I wouldn’t be surprised if the cops showed up today at some point.
My next door neighbor had a shouting match with the homeowner behind them. The lady in the back is kicking out someone she was letting live with her because she was down on her luck. This person is friends with the psycho next door. After the shouting match belongings were flung over the fence. The people next door and the one moving in with them just sit around smoking pot and drinking all day.
Wow! I'd be staying indoors after
dark, for a while.
Had a couple of storms rush through
from about 1:00 to 7:00. Lots of
flooding in San Antonio, but we have
enough land to absorb all the water.
DH is happy - very happy - with his
new rain gauge.
Tree crew showed up at house behind next door neighbor’s at 7 am. They are cutting down a tree in the back. Lady next door is out there screaming at them.
Sounds like my neighbor. We obtained permission from neighbor behind me to use their driveway for tree guy to remove one of the trees in our yard using a crane. She was flipping out. Her daughter and I were texting each other. By the time the guy left, you could not see one piece of wood or pine needle left. She came over and apologized. Meh, she didn't know how good this guy was. All was forgiven.
Personally, when big projects like this go on I can't watch.
