Good morning, my pretties!

Another beautiful, sunny day here! My last day in Campbell!

We head to Columbus tomorrow. And on to North Carolina on Monday.

Laundry and packing today. My friend Carm might stop by later for another visit.

I really had a perfect week here. Thank you, Lord!

What are you up too?

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

Glad to hear you are having a nice time! Safe travels!

Not much new here. I fixed the pool salt converter. I don't know what we ever did before the internet. Well, I do, but I'm glad I don't have to. I probably saved us a few hundred dollars. Time to go shopping! LOL

And now the GFCI outlet in the boys' bathroom needs to be replaced. It's always something. At least DH can do it himself.

Our 17th anniversary gift is furniture so DH gave me a computer table for my laptop. It's nice but a little higher than the TV tray I had it on before so I need to get used to it.

Have a great day!

Enjoy your new computer table, FNW!

Lindley, my sister Irene and her husband built a retirement house in a Del Webb community in Durham, NC. They still have an apartment in Columbus, because Irene is still working. But, since the pandemic hit...she's been working from home. So, they have been splitting their time between Columbus and Durham.smile

They just moved into the house in January...and my Mom has never seen it. None of us have, yet.  (Mom honestly never thought she would get the chance.) So, since I knew Irene and Phil planned to be in Durham for the month of May...I came up with the bright idea to take her on a road trip to see it!biggrin My sister Trudy, is coming along, too! We'll meet her in Columbus, at her daughter's house tomorrow, and have a visit. And head out Monday morning for NC.

I'll leave Thursday morning and head for the barn. I'll probably get as far as Vicksburg...and roll home Friday.

Irene and Phil will take Mom and Trudy up to Columbus on Friday. And get Mom back to Campbell on Saturday.smile

Gosh...I love it when a plan comes together! I know we're going to have a blast!wink

Durham has a nature and science center that is really cool, duke university is in chapel hill not to far from Durham, their botanical gardens are beautiful as well as their chapel. Raleigh is close as well and has a pretty good museum. You can drive to Wilmington in a couple of hours, which is on the coast, west is the Blue ridge mountains. Author Nicholas Sparks books Is mostly based in North Carolina. North Carolina is a beautiful versatile state. I hope you have fun.

It's been a busy school year here. DS wanted to do online school this year so he didn't have to deal with the covid crap at his school. His school has rescinded it though so he's looking forward to being back next year. His tiny heiny was going back regardless though. Even though he chose to stay home, he's been a colossal pain in the rear most weeks when it came to getting his work done. This coming week is the last week of school then he's officially on to second grade!
