Another beautiful morning here. Got my walk in. Watching The Tennis.
Paul texted me around 5pm. yesterday, letting me know they made it to Big Bend.
At 10, he texted a couple of pictures. Said that they had climbed a mountain, and then got rained and hailed on! So, the were back at their hotel in Alpine. I sure hope they have nicer weather today, and can get some good hiking in. Fingers crossed.
Other than a quick run to the gas station and Kroger, not much else happening here.
Worked as usual. FNW maybe DH has more than one stone?
Was supposed to have a hair appointment last Saturday but hairdresser decided she was going out of town for the weekend. When I made the appointment two months ago I even pointed out it was memorial weekend.
Ugh, now I have to wait another month!
He doesn't feel anything today. He had his appt. with the urologist and x rays were taken. Nothing was seen which he said meant it was too small for shockwave therapy. He has to go back though in a couple weeks for his prostate. Apparently he wants to run some tests.
I too worked today. Trying to get June's plan in place. Dad flew into Logan tonight and my sister picked him up and brought him to the Cape. He will be brought to the family cottage (his father originally built) Monday. He will be 90 on the 17th so can't be left alone for long. I can work from the cottage but there is no internet. My new phone is not reliable. Plus family wedding in a few weeks. such a cluster with schedules. Add the dog in and I am stressed. Sigh, but feeling better at least and getting my strength and energy back.

Here if you get caught outside a bar with a drink you get a ticket, it’s several hundred dollars. We have a really nice waterfront park with restaurants and bars. The cops will stand outside and wait for people to step out of the establishment with a drink. They all have signs warning the customers.
I’m outside city limits so there’s a little more freedom.
We like hanging out in Savannah because you can walk around with your drink. Even go bar to bar holding one, no one cares.
I have some mint growing. And parsley, dill, basil and sage. And a mystery herb. My tomatoes are starting to form fruit, and my carrots are doing well as are my beets. The radishes are done and so is my spinach. I have some lettuce that came back from last year and it's nearing it's end as well. I just harvested a large bowl. My green beans are coming up but haven't produced yet. My cucumbers are hanging in there as are my pepper plants. I'm still not sure how my onions will do this year. And I have a volunteer zucchini that came up near where I planted last year. That was a disaster as they produced one piece of fruit then all 20 of my plants died in two different areas of the yard. My strawberries are starting to form fruit as well.

DH sent 15 pounds of tomatoes
with me to church today. I call
them "2 napkin tomatoes", since
they are so juicy. Cherokee
Purple, and regular beefsteak.
I'll bring 3 times as much next
week.
