Last day of school. I need to leave in a bit to pick the boys up. They were supposed to have a special dismissal process where all the teachers would see the children off, but due to rain it will be dismissal as usual. Fine with me, I won't have to get out of the car. LOL
Do you still have to wear a mask in the office, trudy?
While I was in the laundry room,
DH surprised me by adding another
gorgeous rose blossom to the one
he had already put at my desk.
Sometimes, its the "little" things that
mean the most.
His 81st birthday is on Tuesday, and
we're going to a local place that serves
frogs' legs - his favorite. I've made
arrangements with the management
to have pineapple upside-down cake
available for dessert - his absolute
favorite! His nephew will join us for
dinner. I've been saving all my loose
change in a mayonnaise jar for the last
year - I've got enough to treat DH and
his nephew. I traded in the change at
one of our local ice houses (gas station
that also serves as a "deli"). They were
DELIGHTED, because we have a local
shortage of coins.
Happy Birthday to your husband momala, babysat my grandchildren and today,we had a funeral at our church for a member and helped prepare a meal for the family.
