We're on baby watch. My nephew Dan, and his wife are expecting a baby boy. Bethany's due date was August 12th. But, her blood pressure spiked, and her doctor started inducing labor last night. It's slow going. Hoping things start moving along soon, so she can avoid having a C-section.
Waiting for the tree guy to let me know when he's coming to trim our tree. It should be sometime today.

down here. Hope it lets up for
tomorrow's chili cook-off. We
got over 2" of rain yesterday.
Good for the farmers, but bad
for the roadways. The coast
got battered with rain - the
streets are flooded.
A new baby!! What are they naming him? Prayers for a safe delivery.
Possible rain here every day for the next two weeks. It’s so humid!! Still beats cold!

Thank you for the good thoughts and prayers. They put a balloon in, to try to speed things up. And by speed, I mean hopefully she'll deliver in the next 24 hours.
Oy, inductions are no fun. I remember it well.
They haven't told us his name yet. I guess we'll find out when he gets here.
Tree service just left. They did a good job trimming the trees. I'm happy with it.
It looks like it wants to rain here. But, I don't think we're going to get any. We sure could use some.

HBP is not good. I had that and the boys needed to come out right away. Being the wimp that I am, I scheduled the c-section. I found out later that there is bacteria in the birthing canal which helps with the babies' immune systems so I wish I had gone through the pain.
