Good sweaty morning, my pretties.

It's never a good sign when it's 82 at 5am. We're going to hit 100 again today.

Come on...it's September...time to cool off a little bit, for goodness sake!

Cate is coming down to play. I think we will bake some cookies. And play in her pool.

Not much else is happening here.

Cookies!

We got almost 3 inches of rain this morning. Thanks, Ida. Expecting more later. Water in the garage. Drained the pool off a bit. Alerts sounding on all phones at 3 AM. Thanks Fairfax County.

Just got back from breakfast
at DH's favorite place. Mexican
Migas plate - eggs, tomatoes,
onions, cheese, and (stale) tortilla
chips, along with refried beans and
bacon. Stale tortilla chips are actually
part of the recipe. It was yummy!

Now I don't have to do anything with
food until dinner tonight.
