Made a couple apple coffee cakes for the weekend breakfasts!  Other than that, I got nothing.  Oh, I did get an appt for my bro to get the J&J yesterday.  He could only find the pfizer one but I came through for him.   He was grateful.

 HAHAHAHAHA!  I used a mixer.  Okay, I did have to dice the apples by hand.  I was careful.  I then made homemade French mayo to use in egg salad I made for lunch.

FNW, is there a reason your DB is getting the J&J? Three members of my family got it and had really bad reactions. Oh, and I can't believe your boys are in high school!

I'm just getting ready for DF to get here. Can hardly wait to show him the new house,

 Yes, he didn't want an mRNA vax.  DH & I and my mother got J&J, too.  Our reactions were mild.  Our of the four of us, I had it the worst.  Chills, achy.  But within an hour of taking Tylenol, I was fine.  So far, my brother hasn't had any.  The people I knew who had bad reactions got it from Moderna.   One woman I know was bed ridden for two days and thought she was going to die.

Good afternoon, apple coffee cakes sounds good fnw, hello Trudy and njn. Went for my check up yesterday, my blood pressure was 155/75. Today it’s 161/77. Probably why I been having headaches, thought it was a pulled muscle around my neck. Also got my flu shot and that caused me to feel bad. The good news is my blood sugar is down which was a little high last visit.

That seems pretty high, Lindley. Are you on meds?

I take garlic supplements to keep mine down. I can't take too much because it will lower it too much.

The doctor was concerned and I’m supposed to take it every day for a couple of weeks and keep a record and fax it to him, then see if I need meds. I’m going to try the garlic supplements and see if it helps. Thank you for the recommendation.
