I’m so sorry that you guys are still restricted in some places, everything here is back to normal, at least where I live. I don’t understand why not having a full menu is preventing covid.
Initially, there was a limited menu when things first reopened because the restaurants were not fully stocked, having had to throw out or sell their supplies during the lockdowns. Now, I suspect it's a matter of the supply chain fiasco.
It's a hit or miss around here. Most restaurants are back to full menu, but you will hear the occasional, "we're out of that" when attempting to order.
Took my grandson to Steak ‘n Shake last year after things started opening up and couldn’t get a salad, but they had lettuce and tomato for the burgers, I could understand if they had a salad bar, and couldn’t get Mac n cheese which was a bummer since it was my little grand boys favorite. My husband said that they may be trying to save money due to being closed for several months.
I don't think another week is going to make a difference. Just keep checking on-line. A lot of restaurants put their latest menus on line, particularly because they provide the barcode at the table where you can pull it up on your phones if you don't want a paper menu.
While eating a Chicken Express
order of gizzards, I broke a tooth
- a front one !
Do you know how many dentists
are closed on Friday and Saturday?
I guess they want to enjoy a long
weekend. After calling my dental
insurance, they sent me 8 pages of
dentists in my area that are in the
Humana network.
But guess what? They accept Humana
PPO, but not Humana HMO! Why the
hell did Humana send me this list, if the
dentist doesn't take my HMO insurance?
I finally found a dentist that was open
Saturday, only a half hour away from my
house. He put a temporary covering over
the stub of the tooth, which will last me
until Nov. 1, when he will make a temporary
cap - at a total of $550! After that, it will
take 2-3 weeks for the permanent cap.
I hate dental work with a passion. At
least he deadened the area, so it wasn't
too bad.
