Freezing here, too. Just dropped off Christmas cards at the mailbox. Frost everywhere.
The boys are home now for the holidays. I work today and tomorrow but trying to engage with them. Right now they're playing Fortnite with their friends. I've been playing with them, too. Just my boys though. I did play with #2 and his friend and it was pretty funny. Friend started building around me so I was trapped, just to mess with me.
Will take the boys to see that new Spiderman movie this week.

My life long dear friend passed away unexpectedly today as well.
Some days are not fun.

Had a good conversation with a local
attorney regarding probating late DH's
will. Original attorney (2007) said I didn't
need to do anything, that he would call me
when I needed to submit it.
It is now 14 years later, and I want to sell
part the back 20 acers. Well guess what? I
needed to probate it back in 2011! Original
attorney is now serving 5+ years in Federal
Prison ! He's been disbarred, and I have no
idea where his files landed. Soooo. Spoke
with an attorney recommended, among others,
by our County Clerk. He spoke with us
yesterday, (no charge !) and recommended a
local attorney who specializes in probate. We
have an appointment with her next Tuesday.
Hope this doesn't put the cabash on the sale
of our 20 acres.

Today has been a rough day for HDD. O2 fluctuates a lot. She’s very weak and ashen. Hoping tomorrow is a better day for her. The staff has been amazing with her and I am very grateful for all they do for her. Goal is to keep her out of the hospital. Slow recovery at home is our goal. Will update later.

czech, I hope HDD recovers quickly. Great on the help she is receiving.
For the first time in her life, DD is driving herself to a medical appointment. I did have to get permission from the medical provider first since she is a minor. She is really becoming independent and loving it. Plus since I rarely drive my car she gets to all the time.
