Here's to a much better year

for all of us.

Hope your pets are safe from

all the fireworks that are bound

to be set off.

Bought 2 pounds of jumbo shrimps

(on sale) for us to nibble on as we

wait for the ball to drop.

 

Also bought some black eyed peas

(dried and canned) plus a small ham

to start the year off right.

We had Chinese tonight. Trying to stay awake until midnight but I don't see that happening. LOL

We had Thai and ordered pizzas for the boys. I will be taking down the trees today. I need to get rid of Christmas in the house.

We did not stay up. We haven't in several years. We're not the only ones either. Firecrackers and fireworks start going off around 10ish. LOL
