Dreary here. #2 stayed up late waiting for us, so he took a nap today. He has a party and dance to go to tonight. Also his new laptop arrived so he's tinkering with that.

My son and his wife bought me a gift card to my favorite Bristol for Mother’s Day, ordered a spinach salad took one bite and discovered a tooth pick, so glad I didn’t sallow it. Oh well it was still good especially the lobster bisque. I should have complained but I didn’t really think of it till I left.

DH's golf cart, that he uses to
get down to the watermelon
and tomato patches, just gave
up the ghost. He had a long
walk up hill to get the tractor,
but he made it. Towed the
cart to the barn, and we have
a friend who is an experienced
mechanic coming to look at it.
But since it is over 20 years
old, we went to a dealer this
morning and bought a bright
red new one! They will be
replacing the second seat with
a "box", so he can move tools,
fertilizer, etc. from the field to
the barn. It even has lights!
