Doing some laundry.

Watching the Tennis! Go Rafa!wink

Cold front is supposed to be on the way tonight. Sure would be nice if we got some rain out of it! Fingers crossed!

I hope everyone has a good day!smile

My pool lounging got interrupted by the gardener's appearance. I'll go back out after they are finished.

I hope we get a cold front, too. And rain. I want rain!

Good afternoon! Been busy with yard work, Church and grandchildren. I really wish you will get our rain and cold front, hot like August one day and cold and rainy the next…. I know come August I will be complaining about needing rain.

Hello all. I am back and still alive. Gosh, it's been a long week. A week ago yesterday I woke up with a matted eye. I thought allergies and went about my business. It was my turn to watch the grandbaby so I went out there. By the time the day was over my eye was swollen shut. On my way home it started bruising. I got home and DH was mortified. He wanted to rush me to the ER. I told him I'd go to the walk in clinic the next day. When I got there they sent me to the ER. ER rushed me to a bed. Turns out I had a severe infection BEHIND my eye and cellulitis to the orbital socket. No one knew why. I wasn't too stressed until they came and said they were care flighting me to Austin. Then I knew it was serious. They said I had to go immediately or risk losing my eye, stroking out, or the infection spreading to my brain. I spent a week in Austin. They gave me a PICC line which is a IV line that goes directly into your heart. I was getting massive doses of antibiotics. The swelling wouldn't go down and they were talking about operating. Then the swelling finally went down a bit. So here's what happened. Three years ago I broke my eye socket. They went in and put a mesh patch in my eye to hold my eye up. The patch got infected. My body started rejecting it. I will still have to have surgery in the near future. The patch has to be removed and replaced with something else. But I'm alive and good. My eye is really watery and I have spells of dizziness. I'm on massive prescription drugs. It was a long road but I'm glad to be home. I get to see all the babies this week. Life is good.
