Good morning, took the kids out this morning so they could play before it gets to hot, 9:30 and already 90 degrees. I hope you all had a good holiday weekend. Daughte, granddaughters and me are planning a trip to New York City next ma, hopefully it would be fun. Babysitting the kids tonight to so their parents can go see maverick at the movies. Husband and I went to see Elvis and it was really good.
We saw a beautiful fireworks show in our neighborhood last night. They really did a nice job of it, and the clean up crew did such a good job no one could tell anything had happened. LOL
It was sad being empty nesters for the 4th. We're happy for #2, he is having a great time in camp. We took him around Philly with SIL over the weekend which was fun. #1 is not doing well, and we are going to find another place for him, hopefully soon. The place where he is at thinks they can keep him motivated for another week with the prospect of treatment elsewhere, but if it takes too long he will probably fall into that funk he was in when he was home with us. Fingers crossed we find a place that can reach him. He's been fighting everything.

Thin bread (about half the thickness
of a regular slice of bread), a little
miracle whip, lettuce, and thin
sliced tomatoes. OMG it was
delicious !
We do have an advocate and he has been working hard lately. We have several places we are waiting to hear back from as to whether they feel he is a good fit and whether they have availability. I was in panic mode last night when the current place said they are good until the end of this week or early next week. I hate the thought of him having to hang around at home again waiting without receiving any help, running away again, etc.
Happy that you found a place and sad that it is so far away, Prayers that like chef said will be the place that will find the way for him to get the help he needs and inspiration to work with them.
