We had a great time with Wayne's sister and her granddaughter.
I took them to the Botanical Garden, The Zoo, Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, Dinosaur Valley State Park, The Stockyards, The Kimbell Art Museum, and their first trip to Costco!
Plenty of swimming in the afternoons. Lots of game playing after dinner. They had a blast!
Now, back to the routine.
Hot, miserable, no rain in sight. I'm ready for Fall!
We took #2 to the PO to get a new passport then lunch. A family of 10 children were waiting after us. It was a beautiful sight to see.
#1 called last night and begged us to remove him. No can do. It is very hard to hear I had to walk away from the phone for a bit. He's a broken record. It's not good for #2 to hear him like that either. His next call will be Sunday so I'm trying to figure out how to keep #2 away. My parents are out of town so I can't send him over there. I'm thinking of using ear buds. Give one to DH so we can both listen in. Not sure how that will work.
Happy that you enjoyed your visit fwm, it sounds like you all had a great time. I’m sorry to hear that your son is struggling, all you can do right now is to keep assuring him that you love him, miss him and encourage him to be open to the therapist and Pray for him.
Today my oldest grandchild’s birthday, can’t believe she’s 10 yrs old. I’m too is so sick of 100 degree weather and can’t wait for fall, I bought some artificial fall flowers from Walmart today. Fall is definitely my favorite season.
#1 seems to have faced his fate. He wrote that he will agree to continue to participate and do whatever they ask so he can get better and come home. He told his therapist that today as well. Progress.

that Is a big step in the right direction, I Pray he will find healing and peace with himself.

Week 1 of third grade done. I'm ready for the year to be over already. It was tough week. DS is full of attitude. The tween 'tude is starting to hit and I am not amused.
