I am going to clean out my pantry. Mice have left me presents.

Appropriate title for the day. I stopped at the library to talk to the assistant that works on Saturday for us and ended up staying to organize one of the Lego sets with another lady who volunteered to help. Took 2 hours. Got home, now I can't decide where to start on my house. I think my pantry will be the last thing on the list -- not looking forward to it. Same issue as NJN. Think I'll throw laundry in, and load and start the dishwasher.

I got a load of laundry in and with DS's help am working on the pantry. He pulled everything out and then wiped it down with soapy water and then bleach water. I put a few things back but we were working on wiping down all the jars and cans when DS dropped a jar of peaches. Now he's cleaning THAT up. I'm thinking of putting stuff back in a different way.

Electrician came (we finally found one) and changed both ceiling lights (one in the LR and one in the Kitchen) and the light over the sink. He had to put in new socket attachments for the fixtures (for lack of a better word. The old fixtures got their electricity directly from wires running into the fixtures). Spent 2 hours here. The total for the three fixtures, new sockets, labor, taking away the old fixtures came to around $400.00 I thought that was cheap. Plus he was a nice guy and now we have someone to go to in case of minor electric problems.

That sounds like a good deal Karl. I have a good, reasonable but could use an electrician myself.

My pantry is clean an organized. The mouse ate some stuff but we threw it all away. I hope it will all stay organized for more than a few days this time.

Could you give me his contact information? I'd like to have some things done too. smile

OK, Ed, but I think the travel expenses might be prohibitive. LOL
