Except in my province. The teachers have been on strike since May and are no closer to a contract now then they were back then. Makes me sad for the kids who aren't going to their first day of kindergarten, highschool or senior year.
I think if I was a parent I'd be looking into subsidized private school at this point.
Wow. That is awful! Poor kids.. and teachers, I suppose.
DD's first real day of school was today. She went one day last week with 3 other classmates ( They do groups of 4 for each day the first week) but today was the first day for everyone. She had fun. I slept my first school day away.. baby was up a lot last night, so I was tired.
