Only one more day until the weekend!!

Anyone have plans?

We are spending Sunday with DS and GF. First pro game of the season and DH and DS have spent every first Vikings game together for years. We are meeting half way and plan on eating until we are stuffed. The game? Whatever. biggrin

Awana started here last night. It's always on a Wednesday night here. A very good program, IMHO.

 We do ours on Sunday evenings while the adults are in evening services.  The other churches in the area that do it, do it on Wednesday nights, so we get some of their kids who can't do Wednesday, or who are trying to hurry along finishing their books.

 Awana is a children's church program whose goal is to teach them the gospel of Christ and train them to serve him.

Awana stands for "Approved workmen are not ashamed" which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 -
