My son got through the ordeal 13 years ago. Should I call him and tell him (again) that I'm glad?
??????
He was working in a building very close to the World Trade Center, evacuated and got far enough away that he wasn't injured that day.
What I don't know is how he feels when I call him on the anniversary. I'd like to give him a chance to talk about it, but I'm reluctant to keep bringing it up.

I'm having cabbage rolls for dinner, well deserved for surviving my day. I'm hastefully teaching my coworker the bare bones details of my job since I'm going on vacation next week. She's swamped so it's been hard finding time, we finally got some time. And she totally screwed up something, which is fine, it happens. Actually, it totally gave us the giggles. We had to call in help to fix it. Guy we called finally figured out what she had done and goes, "wow, you really hosed it up, I thought you just kinda hosed it, but you really hosed it". She'll be fine, I have faith. And she has my cell number lol
