If someone offered to tell you accurately exactly where you'd be in 20 years, but you'd be powerless to change what they tell you, would you want to hear it? Why?
No. Probably because I have a very good idea where I will be in 20 years. Dead.
Even if I were younger I do not think I will like to have that information; kind of takes the fun out of trying to reach your goal....

Me too. Already bought the cemetery plot.

Nope. To many variables in life that can change an outcome. I would hate to think that I could have done something different and it wouldn't change a thing.
To some extent, we control our own destinies. Yeah, bad things happen, but ultimately, we do choose our own paths in life.
Besides, the journey is the fun part.

Do you see a theme?
Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Yes, because I'd be curious as to what they'd say. I tend to be skeptical towards such things so I'd take it as a fun activity (for lack of a better word) and nothing more. In any case, it's highly unlikely that I would remember such an encounter 20 years from now so I wouldn't know if they were right or wrong.
I really hope no one ever offers me this choice because I would have to say yes, even though I agree with everyone else and would want to say no. I'm a sucker for information.
