Hypothetical Question #2

Given the opportunity, would you want to be Immortal? Why or why not?
(For the purpose of this question, you would be immortal as an adult on Earth and in good health).

If no one else around me was immortal, then no. It would be a lifetime of sorry and sadness and losing people I love.

Would I have the option of no longer living at some point? For example, say I wanted to live for a long time, and then I get to the point that I am no longer comfortable in the world, my relatives are dead, can I choose to die ? If so, count me in. If I have to literally live forever, then no thanks.

Did that make sense?

I don't think so. I wouldn't want to keep losing my loved ones.

Yes, I would.

I know what it's like to love people and lose them ...

and I know what it's like to love people, even knowing that at some point I will lose them.

It's well worth it.

No thanks. I have no desire to be immortal. I want to live my life then go spend eternity with God in Heaven.

Looking at it that way, we are already immortal. Good call!

This is my perspective as well. Good job, chef!
