Gonna be close to 90 here today. Taking DD for 2 more root canals and 3 more large fillings. Hopefully I will be able to make it for most of the Zumbathon at 11. My instructor is having a Zumbathon in honor of her niece. She died from cancer earlier this year. She would have turned 6 this week. The children's hospital was really awesome to her niece and family through the whole ordeal so she wants to raise some money to donate to them so they can keep helping families like them. I already bought my tickets but I want to be there and have fun with everyone else.

That's really sad about her niece :(

Slept in my car last night and probably for the next couple weeks. The breakup was as bad as I thought it would be.

Two root canals and three filling? General anesthesia, I presume??? How old is she?

How did her teeth get so bad?

 

Spouse had never heard of dental floss until I told her, and her parents never told her to brush the inside surfaces of her teeth.

Yes, she had a lot of fillings as a child.

Ed, DD has had years of other medical issues. Some people just have bad teeth. She fought me big time when she was smaller and I warned her that this would happen.

Around here, we seem to have a dentist's office every other block. I think a lot of people never listened to their parents, because all of those dentists seem to be making a good living.

I work with a lady who was a dental assistant for years. She said it's almost all profit. Dentists probably have very low malpractice insurance rates and not much overhead. I tried getting her into the comprehensive health dental clinic (free clinic) but they only do cleaning.

My brother is here, I'm going to ask him if I can use his shower for a couple weeks but I can't stay there because his roommate is allergic to dogs.

I'll be fine, I've been homeless before I can do it again.
