Except for spam. And links. None of that. But other than that type on! Oh and no unauthorized ads this time folks. Sheesh, I get so tired of telling ya'll the rules over and over and over again.

Mrmph. I want to go back to bed. I get to work with A today. A has been difficult and miserable to work with since his brother died. I get it, I really do, but urgh. Do not want.
And it got so late I never washed the bottles, so he will be ESPECIALLY cranky. Yay. But hey, at least he will have a legit reason to be mad, and mad at me, vrs. his normal mad-at-everyone-for-no-reason attitude he's had lately.
Had dreams about moving into a new house. All of us moving into awesome rooms decorated just for us. An awesome place.
Storms are over for my area for now but now it is kind of cool.
We have large limbs down in our yard but praise God no damage.
Monster discovered the ceiling last night. He would sit beside me, staring at the ceiling and whimpering. Then he barked at it. I love this dumb little dog.
C finished Cosmetology school yesterday. She gets her diploma today and schedules her test and then she gets her license. She owes something like $6000 in loans now but those payments start in 6 months. Plenty of time to find a job.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning Geeks! I took a stroll down memory lane this morning, while checking old PM's for anything I might need to save. All the sweet, fun, and heartfelt talks I came across really boosted my spirits today.
Glad to see so many here!
Lily, Congrats to C! Does she have any idea of where she would like to work? Also, glad you survived the storms with no damage!

I've been getting up at 3:15 with Mr.VoR. Then I drink coffee with him so I can't go back to sleep. But, between coffee and sleep? Coffee wins every time.
Good morning! First cup of coffee down, I'm human again!
Congrats to C, Lily.
I wonder who will be the last post on GT.... it's still there. I'm betting on 8 a.m. as shut down time.

Morning Geeks! I like the new neighborhood. I also like the muted blue background - thanks LL, if that's your handiwork. Off to the office - but I'LL BE BACK...
Good morning, friends. Today is Bunny's third day at his new daycare. When I picked him up yesterday he cried and said he was having too much fun to go home. I feel really good about changing schools.

That's good, but it does get old. I finally elicited the help from the preschool and camp teachers to help get my boys to leave.
True, FNW. But at least he is not crying and begging me not to leave him at day are anymore. He never was able to tell me what was bothering him so much.

I think all kids go through the "mommy don't go" phase. Mine went through it when they 3. Same school they wouldn't leave 2 years later. The phase didn't last long...the teachers would pick them up and hold them and I would give a kiss, smile, and tell them I would be back after nap and snack. Then I'd go inside and watch from a location where they couldn't see me. By the count of 5 they were smiling and running off to play. I would do periodic unannounced "sneak attacks" to see how they were treated without the school knowing....just to make sure.
OK here's the daily. DD's last Bball game is tonight! We are playing a pretty weak team so we should be bringing home the win. I have some chicken in the oven and making some Chicken parmesan. Then tonight, DH and I have to practice our 4th and 5th grade YMCA girls bball team. I really better log off and go plan my practice.

C still has to take her state test to get her license. But she could work as apprentice right now under someone else.
She went from high school straight to cosmetology and has been working and going to school 6 days a week ever since. She said she wants to take a week off. I don't blame her one bit. It will give her time to set up the test and unwind a bit. She and her brothers are going to the county Ag fair this weekend with some church friends. She has talked about going back to the Cos school to work as receptionist until she can take the test and get something permanent.
Tang, if you feel better about the new day care and Bunny is happy about it then that is all that matters.

DH got a letter. PERSONAL AND CONFIDENTIAL. DO NOT OPEN UNLESS YOU ARE DH. So I opened it.

The daycare my coworker's granddaughter goes to has a web site where you can log on & observe what is going on.

It was an update on his 401k. Boring. I knew it would be.

I sent my youngest to one of those. It came in handy. I could check in and see him playing and having fun. I didn't make a habit of watching though.
He wasn't in there long though. There was something about it that just didn't sit right with me. I couldn't put my finger on it. About the whole thing not the camera thing.
Still not sure what it was but I learned a long time ago to listen to my gut feelings.
But I liked the camera thing.

It's good. It's my go to at new Italian restaurants.
Spaghetti and chicken with parmesan over both. Simple enough.

Chicken and waffles seemed like a big mash up to me but man is it good!
