She also uses that popcorn salt to season them. You know the flavored ones? She puts in the white cheddar popcorn salt.

I omit celery from recipes too. I don't hate it, it just seems like a waste of chopping to me.

I ate too much queso dip at lunch & feel like I'm going to puke. That stuff is so good it's like crack.

My head has been killing me for 2 stinking days now. Stupid Texas allergies! Also, I may have inadvertantly subscribed to this thread instead of posting that comment a few minutes ago. Sigh.

Funny story about my migraine, though--yesterday, I left work at noon since my head was throbbing. I went home, took some (more) meds, and laid down with an ice pack for a few hours before I went to pick DS up from after school care. When I picked him up, I told him we were going to run a couple of quick errands, then go home, and I was going to lay back down since I wasn't feeling well. He replied that there is this virus that some people are getting that is really bad... Apparently, they've been talking about Ebola in school, and since I was sick, I clearly had it.

Awe, your poor son! Kids get worried so easily with bits and pieces of information. That's so sweet of him to be worried about you.

Hope the migraine goes away soon!

I love meat loaf. It's one of my favorite things. Especially meat loaf from Bob Evans. I'll get the to-go family meal and have it for days

I finally figured out the difference:

When you quote another poster, "Submit Post" is in the bottom right.

On an original post, that's where "Subscribe" is.

I like raw ones too.  I am making stuffed peppers but I don't eat the pepper just the stuffing, but I like the way the peppers make the sauce taste.

All EBOLA all the time everywhere FWM. I live near Dulles Airport & they are one of the few that is now taking temperatures. I doubt that will help anything but it is the news here. Plus there is an EBOLA patient in one of the DC hospitals.

My whine:

Bunny is having some sort of Oedipal phase. He keeps trying to make me sleep in his room, or take Husband's place in our bed. He hangs on me constantly and grabs my face to try and kiss me on the lips. It's starting to make me uncomfortable.

Last night he came into my bedroom (when he was supposed to be sleeping in his) and told me, "Daddy doesn't love you. I love you! You love me, not Daddy!"

What on earth am I supposed to do about this? I explained that little boys should kiss Mommy on the cheek, not the lips. I explained that he has to sleep in his bed and Daddy sleeps in my bed with me. I explained that Daddy loves me and him and I love him and Daddy.

Has anyone else dealt with this? It seems to be getting worse, been going on about three months now.

I didn't have this problem with either one of my boys, Tang.

But, I think you are handling it the right way. It's a phase. It will pass, in time.

I think it will pass Tangerine, I remember when I was kid I asked my mom if we could "french kiss" and she was like "where did you hear about that?" I said my brother's friend tried to french kiss me. Man she was pissed she booked after him so fast!

I think EVERY ONE of my friends with boys have gone through this. Holy cow the stories they would tell. I didn't know whether to laugh or call a therapist.

It'll pass. But you have to write this **** down so you can share it with him when he's older. Eventually it'll be funny.

I really need to take my sleeping pill but if I take them now I'll be sleeping when DH gets home. Do I take them later and then sleep all day. First world problems.
