Well once I pay I'm committed so let's see if I can pull the trigger. The idea of committing to a 5 week class kind of freaks me out. Ugh. I did everything but put in the cc number.

Morning everyone. That's about all I've got today. It is grey & dreary here & that is setting the mood for the day. At least it is Mexican lunch day.

I hope you get some sunshine soon, Lexxy!

Ares is on the mend. His infection is clearing up. The Vet wants us to put warm compresses on him twice a day, to help things along.

And, we'll take him in Saturday morning for hopefully, his final recheck.

Now, I guess I'd better do a few chores.

Maybe.wink

LOL! I have to do yard patrol before the lawn service comes. And unload the dishwasher. Maybe run for a few groceries.

Not planning on any wall washing, or anything like that.wink

I was leaving for work this morning & a little old lady was walking her dog. I said hello & she told me some dog had pooped on the sidewalk in front of my house but it wasn't her dog. She didn't want me to think she or her dog would do such a thing. Who lets their dog poop on the sidewalk & just walks away?

Hi Geeks!

Congrats on the new niece Squeaks!

Hope your foot feels better soon Trudy.

Glad Ares is healing FWM.

VoR, I think that is such a nice thing to do. I bet your neighbors really appreciate the secret mower.

I don't know what kind of person does that, but I think it's really cute that she had to let you know it wasn't her.

I caught a guy letting his dog leave a huge pile.  Gragged a grocery bag, handed it to him and told him to pick it up.

Yeah I laughed once I got in the car.  I never would have noticed the poop since I parked in the driveway & the leaves are falling.

Doing laundry, just made a meatloaf...still need to scrub the baked potatoes and then I'm going to go out and prune some bushes. It's a beautiful day here but we're supposed to get a cold snap. Don't know how many nice days we'll have so I'm trying to get the outdoor chores done.

I sort of hoard TP.  I buy a big 12 pack of double rolls every time I go to the store or order groceries.  I have two of them in the linen closet & about 20 rolls under the sink in my bathroom plus the other bathrooms are stocked.  You know JIC of zombie apocalypse.

Foot injuries take forever to heal. Experience speaking here. I wore a boot for 8 weeks when I sprained my heal. It's worse then a break, IMHO. no

Hope you heal faster then I did.

Trudy, if you can prop it up, several times a day, it would help.

Just an idea.

I forgot my grocery list so I went by memory. I just know I forgot something. Hopefully I can remember to bring it with me tomorrow or remember to review everything tonight. I actually have until Saturday night to complete it because I scheduled Sunday for delivery. They don't deliver on Saturday for some reason. I want to make stuffed peppers ever since FWM posted about them.

My dog threw up on my bed. Which is bad enough, but she also got in on my comforter. My comforter is dry-clean only. I just had it cleaned, and now I have to take it back! Sometimes having pets is overrated.

That sucks NAOW.  I have a cat that pukes on my bed every few months.  The worst is when it soaks through all the layers & I have to do 3 loads of laundry.  Sorry your comforter is dry clean only.  No way would that work in my house.

Yep. I think they plan it to be the most amount of work.

I think I need a new comforter. It took 3 weeks the last time I took it in.

Mine is dry clean only, too, and I just throw it in the washer.  It won't last as long, but oh well.  Dry cleaning costs over time would cost be the same as replacing this.

I do the same thing. Wash and dry. It's not like they make them to last a lifetime anyway.

It is impossible to find a comforter that is washable. Best you can do is usually a quilt or duvet and I HATE duvets. I don't want to wrestle the comforter part into a giant pillowcase. Tried all the tricks and I never can get it in straight and flat.

I have homemade quilts on the guest beds. Those last forever and are fine with wash and dry. smile
