I am IRL friends with FWM. She's a beautiful person. I consider her my adopted big sister. She has given me so much good advice and love. She's a treasure.

I think it helps to ask people questions (reasonable questions) about their interests, particularly whatever it is that got you in a room together.

Then listen. Say things like, "that's interesting" and "tell me more".
